 NOTE: The above information has been confirmed thru numerous family interview's by Cy and Peg  Higgins including info from Peg's uncles Jimmy and Ted Donovan ( sons of  Jeremiah and Kate Donovan) from Dunmanway, Cork , as well as letters from  Peg's aunt Ellen Donovan Woodard their older sister. 

Aunt Ellie  provided the names of all 11 of her siblings as well as her grandparents (Donovans, Dulleas, Briens, Hourihans). She was born around Kinneigh in 1893 and went to school in Ballineen before the family moved to Aultagh. She described the Famine cemetery to the east of Dunmanway where some of the Donovans were buried. She mentioned that our branch of Donovans were known as Donovan Baud ( or boat people) and that her older brother John would visit some Donovans who may have been relatives that actually lived at Castle Donovan ). Very interesting.

Note Relationships to older generations although supported by some family history and some records that appear logical have not been definitively confirmed.
